I use Olfa and Fiskars. Both are great and never had any trouble with neither one.
    Love your answer and welcome!

Thank You Suzi! I have to admit I am hooked!! I love this group! I come here when I have free time, I get ready for work early (when I work) just to set and read and look around. This seems like it's one big family and full of compassion! I've joined other groups and got lost in the shuffle! I don't feel afraid to ask questions or leaving comments. I hope to be here more often as I have a lot to learn and maybe contribute.
Again thank you and to everyone with the compassion to help others.

Yes, I know that, but thanks because a lot of people don't know that.
I've been trying to visualize the blade direction. If you're right handed it turns clockwise, but if you use it in your left hand that makes the blade go counter clockwise. So it's a left handed cutter, right?
about the direction the blade turns. no matter if you're right handed or left handed, the blade turns counter-clockwise when you cut with either hand, as long as you're cutting away from your body outward. the only way the blade would turn clockwise is if you start cutting away from your body and roll it towards you. i've never seen anybody cut that way. it's kinda like tires on a car, going forward the tires run counter-clockwise, they only turn clockwise when you go in reverse.

Make sure that there is only 1 blade in the cutter. I know this sound dumb but I changed blades once and it was not cutting right and when I check I found 2 blade instead of one. DAH!!!!!!!!

I've done that before. Those little blades are sooooo thin.

They make both a left and a right hand cutter so I don't think that makes a difference.
