Hi Sharon, Thanks for the words of encouragement. What I'm really getting "good" at is ripping out all the mistakes I make. I'm loving it anyway.
Age is just a state of mind....(that means I'm a little older than you.) LOL!

A book I was reading called ripping out seams, "Frogging".
"Rip it! Rip it! Rip it!"
My sister preached at me long enough than I have come to believe that un-sewing is part of the quilting process. I still don't enjoy it though!

Thanks for the 'giggle." I don't especially enjoy the ripping out part but it gives me hope that I can do it right the next time. I know it doesn't have to be perfect but my skills are really rusty and I think I rush things without thinking them through. If nothing else, learning to quilt is teaching me patience!
