Default I took the plunge.......

And after almost hyperventilating in the store bought a Pfaff QE 4.2. So far, I'm in love. I hope it continues to be an amazing machine for me. The one thing I noticed is when I did a demo months ago, I thought she had a second plate to switch out for embroidery and fmq and my machine only came with one plate. Am I missing a plate?

No - the straight stitch plate is an optional extra, but was included with the extension table and extra feet during a promotion for the 4.0 a while back. I use my straight stitch plate 90% of the time, so well worth the investment. Enjoy your machine
