    I have had fabric before that will not be cut with a rotary cutter no matter what. It's mystery to me why all of a sudden the fabric will not cut. It does happen.

    Thanks for all the wonderful suggestions. Checked the blades and only had one (not quite as sharp as should be so we changed it). Cutting mat is older but self healing. Admittedly I may not have been applying enough pressure (broken wrist about 6 months ago). Friend took pity and cut for me. Now I know what to check in the future. Thanks.

    and I thought I was the only ninny who did that!! hahaha You are right it reeks havoc with the cutting and it did take me a while to figure it out!

    Also check your mat. If it is overly used, not only will it dull your blades, but you will experience these problems. Good luck!
