    I think it would be cool. It definitely would be more 3d if you use embellishments.

    You will have a lot of fun creating this! I would attempt it in a minute, using alot of fabrics that sparkle for the snake accents and metallic threads. I hope you post a pic when you are done!

    Do you have to get permission from the artist? I would think unless you are the artist, it is considered intellectual property, or artistic property. (I hate to be a downer) But if you are going to put the kind of work into it that I suspect you will, and you may want to show it in public, you may need to look into this.
