Evelyn, I miss Hancocks, they always had the best selection for novelty fabrics...........and for going only for floss and you came home with more items..........my theory is that as one enters the shop we get sprayed with a gas ordorless and colorless............it makes us purchase more...............calla

Ours closed a few years ago...I am drooling at your purchase. I have the same "hobby" called my ever increasing stash. I love it!

I know your feeling of not being able to walk out only with what you went in for - that disease is quite prevalent - so don't feel like you are doomed; it is not fatal unless you are robbing your checkbook of the money needed to pay your bills, so enjoy and don't fret about it - many of us suffer the same as you are - but are enjoying it to the max!

Many people suffer with their addictions of drugs or alcohol. I flourish and make life beautiful with my fabric addiction...it hurts no one but it sure pleases the eye and the reciever of a work of art that not only warms their eyes but their bodies....thats my story and I'm sticking to it...Fabric is my addiction and I'm proud to say "I AM AN ADDICT"

If I go I buy. If I don't go I buy on the net. So whatever you want to call it I caught it a long time ago!

Great fabrics. I got my sales notice yesterday - may have to go check it out. Glad you got your floss. I hate when I get sidetracked and buy everything but what I went into the store to get. :-)

Yes, I have the same problem! I have gotten to know some of the gals at Hancocks which is more fun! If I can't buy at the great sales, then I might as well quit. I certainly won't pay full price. I donate most of all of everything, so it is a win win. Yet it is a fun addiction.
