    what type/brand name of sewing/quiltng machines do you use? basically the same as in the US?

    The sewing machine brands on the Europe/UK markets are basically the same ones as in the US.

    My machines (UK): Janome Horizon and Singer Inspiration.

    My family & friends in Germany: My mom has been using Singers ever since I can remember (40 years or so). My oldest friend has a Bernina, my SIL just treated herself to a Babylock.
