did google search but could not find an easy to handapplique shape.
I saw today a shop sign with a lizard on it that was somehow scattered. Like single pieces on solid background that gave the shape of a lizard.
    Does this make any sense??
how am I supposed to find something if I dont know how its called.........

    thank you for reading

Go to Coloring book printable pages on Google and you will find many pictures to use for applique or whatever..

Lots of places on the internet. You might try glasscrafters.biz, a free stained glass pattern site, or just find a picture of a lizard and have it enlarged at a Staples or somewhere. For the little individual pieces you mentioned, I would copy the whole pattern on fusible, cut the pattern apart into pieces I liked the looks of, then fuse to the background fabric leaving a 1/4" (approximately) space in between each piece. I call this exploding a pattern.
