Smile Do we have any lizard fans out there?

I came across this picture on the net and could not resist this handsome fellow! (Somebody told me its a girl, but I wouldn't know how to tell! LOL ) I am thinking he needs to be appliqued onto the front of a big pillow! A suitable fabric might be hard to find! The quilting should be fun! Question: Do any of the rest of you find him as appealing as I do? Or am I the odd-woman out? (Keep in mind I am the one who appliqued the white dandelion seed-heads, and not the yellow flowers! LOL )

My grandson has one named Amadeus, and guess who gets to feed him when they go on vacation. I would love a picture like that, may have to go searching for one. Lucky you.

Spartan, did you see the picture I posted. It is not showing up on my screen. This is my first post since the changeover.

I'm not Spartan, but I can't see your photo. I like lizards, though wouldn't have one for a pet.

The new system did not upload the picture. I will post it later after the problem is fixed.

We live with gecko's in our house. Sometimes they give me a fright when I'm not expecting it.

I live in Florida and I love lizards ... we also have cameleons and skinks and they all eat the bugs that you don't want around - a nice feature! We have a "watch lizard" that sits on top of the towel rack next to our pool - like he's king of all he surveys ... too funny!

I love them -they have attitude. GD was 5 and all she wanted for Christmas was a REAL lizard-so of course my son got her 2- they were Savannah Monitors named Sliz and Liz.The were longer than GD was tall but they rode on her shoulders tails dragging and their head was above hers.Well Sliz and Liz now reside at the Toledo Zoo.They got quite large and when CJ started college she donated them. They are both lovable and kids visiting get to hold them. They were always lap sitters
