A while back I decided to buy some unbleached muslin to have on hand for backings, practicing FMQ, etc. Can't remember where I bought it but I do remember that the person who cut it did a lousy job of folding. Brought it home and it sat in my messy sewing room for quite a while before I got around to re-folding and putting it away. Well. . . tonight I went looking for that muslin and for the life of me I can't remember where I put it. Mind you it's not a small piece - about 8-10 yards as I recall. I even straightened up the sewing room (a little) and looked in all the usual places. Still can't find it. And my house is small so there aren't that many places for things to hide. It will be interesting to see where it turns up.

Been there done that. As a matter of fACT TODAY i SPENT OVER AN HOUR LOOKING FOR MY EMBROIDERY FLOSS. i KNEW i HAD PUT THEM(THREE PLASTIC BOXES)in a shopping bag from JoAnns, they were no where to be found. Then I decided to look in my sewing box and low and behold, what did I find at the bottom? up, all three boxes. They had been under my nose the whole time. Yours will show up also.

The more organized i try to be the worse I am at finding things. My house is neat as a pin but not my sewing room. For the life of me I cant keep that room neat.

We "lost" our son once - he was just beside us and then gone. We went all over the place - inside and out. Ooops, found him - in bed sound asleep.
