The right needle-thread match and a well-oiled hook (along with a good initial tension adjustment) are the keys to good tension. I'm sure you'll enjoy this lovely machine.

Ok, is it just me or is no one else asking what is a Charming 22?? Who makes this machine, sorry just never heard of it. Well regardless good luck with it seems like that first one is looking good?

How exciting for you...and from the looks of your quilt, it appears you and your Charm 22 have already bonded. One couldn't tell that your quilt was a "first" on your new machine. Happy quilting!

I'm so jealous....it looks as if that is large enough to do many quilts and yet small enough to fit into almost any space. I'll have to check this out for myself!!
