Im so excited for you! I am disabled and HAVE to sit while quilting. I have the Platinum which is Husqvarna's version of the Sweet Sixteen. I love it, too. My boyfriend made me the "Jenoop" suspender system and it really helps a lot holding the fabric up so there is no weight interfering when moving the quilt around!

Wow, good for you! A friend of mine has the exact machine, and I loved the one time I used it. I'm currently saving for my own, even though she says I can use hers whenever I want... It's hard to find time when we're both free, as she travels a lot. Squeezing 2 people into her tiny sewing room with the tables up is nigh impossible. Happy quilting with your new friend.

You need practice? Those feathers are beautiful! Can't wait to see what you do once you have had lots of practice.

Congratulations on being a new mom of a Charm 22.

I'm glad you "bit the bullet" and bought a LA. It's not often that we can afford to live our dreams. When I had the space for a LA, I didn't have the money, now I still don't have the money and I no longer have space for even a small sit down LA. A girl can dream anyway.

I too have wanted a LA, but the space they require and cost have prohibited me from purchasing one. I love that yours is a sit down and appears to be built into a table. May I inquire as to who makes the Charm 22? I did a very quick search and could not find one. I will search further. I would definitely need a sit down, due to my problems standing for long periods after I broke my foot two years ago. Congratulations! I hope you have many hours of enjoyable quilting. Thanks for any info you can provide.
