Welcome to the Quilting Board!
Our Janome dealer says Ja-no-me. Three syllables.
I just bought a new Janome and the manufacture called it Ja nom e ....
many years ago, I took a class from a local quilt store, which sold Pfaffs - I brought my Janome to class and the instructor who hated Janome referred to it as my "Jer-om-ey" - that name has stuck in my mind.....

Ja -NO-me. It's means "eye of the snake" in Japanese.
All the dealers around here use the three syllable pronunciation. So do I.
he, he. some people add R's to everything!!!
Should have called her Pfaff a Paff.
