Question Janome horizon --satin stitch

Hello I own a janome horizon and wanted applique using a satin stitch but not sure which one of those to pick they're so many I just want a reg satin stitch hopefully someone here owns one and can give a suggestion also what would be the best thread for this machine for appliqué? I'm having issues with coats and clark and connevting thread, they're fine for piecing but not for appliqué thx

i hav a janome horizon and i use number 45 for appliqué. my machines only use superior threads. they really work good. masterpiece ply 3 i use for thread superior
