Default Jenny Doan "trunk show" what does that mean?

I was excited to hear that Jenny Doan is coming to an event center in my area in several weeks. She will be doing 4 "trunk shows" that are each 3 hours long. Do any of you guys know what a "trunk show" is? I am wondering what to expect....

Trunk show is a common term for displaying your wares, in this case quilts.

Trunk shows are used most often to allow folks to see what's coming before it's made public. In some cases, you can buy prototypes or even the actual item at a discount, and you can often place orders for things before it's available to the general public. They are a lot of fun, and they are very very common in the bridal industry.

Thank you for your replies So it will be a show and tell type set up. I am going to go just to support the quilting in my area.

I've not been to a Jenny Doan trunk show but I've been to some others and I really enjoyed them. And I walked away with a few freebies and a couple of prototype rules.

When and where will she be near Southern Indiana? I'm in central KY and would love to attend one.

You can look it up on Facebook... Southeastern Indiana One Stop Shop Hop. She is going to be in Lawrenceburg on September 19 and 20 at the new convention center that is being finished up. I don't know where Richmond, KY is but Lawrenceburg, IN is about 30 miles due west from the West side of Cincinnati
