As anyone ever tried the quilt as you go method? Is it easy, I dont own a quilt frame system and want to try my hand at machine quilting but want something that is managable.

Do you have suggestions for me?

Georgia Bonesteel has excellent books on quilting as you go. The local library should have several of her books. They are quilt classics.

Try out Fun and Done. I made traditional blocks but quilted them in a Fun and Done style and it worked out pretty well for me.
