I'm in. I'll be working on a monster of a quilt for our bed (126"x126"). I need 12 more bear paw squares. Need to cut a some more pieces, must have miscounted when I first cut. Saturday & Sunday are suppose to be cold here so I'll have a fire in the wood fireplace/burner and sew!

I'm in! First I have to shovel the room out a bit. Made three receiving blankets and a quick patchwork for a new, quick arrival baby in the family this past week. Parents (niece and nephew) got word on Thurs to pick up 3 week old baby on Sat! The entire family is scrambling to welcome our new kid! Then, on to projects I want to finish. Will keep you posted!

DebraK - love your Doctor Who block. When is that coming back on TV anyway?
Hillary - LOVE what you've done with the selvages! Maybe I should start saving mine and pass them along. I'd love to sew along with you this weekend, but my sewing room has been dismantled and is in the process of being remodeled. I'll think of y'all as I'm painting, wishing I was quilting instead!

I'll join in the VQW tomorrow. I am joining 2.5" squares into 25-patches. I plan to look on the internet tonight for a pattern. I have so many 2.5" squares that I have to do something with them.

michelleoc, I think Season 8 premiers in the UK in July, but don't quote me on that. I'd have to ask my DH, the Dr. Who fanatic ;-) The quilt will be for him. I'm hoping to have it done by then. This is only the 5th block out of 20.
Remodel? How exciting!

I will continue going over the king sized I just finished to find any stray ends or places I missed when quilting. Also quilting and assembling the last row of the Jane Stickle blocks. I've started the Fancy Dish Dresden (1 block done) and will join the blades for another. Thank goodness I had a cortisone shot in my thumb as all of these things require hand work!
Happy Valentine's!!

Count me in.
My plans this weekend is to finish off a quilt top (just borders to go), to finish off a small FMQ practice quilt, to rip out a small area of an already finished quilt top (there is one corner that I'm just not happy with, and it needs to be changed), to prepare the backing for the one I've fixed, to sandwich the one I've fixed, and to do some practice FMQ so I'm in the groove to quilt the one that I've sandwiched. In addition, I have a commitment all day Sunday, so if I can get the above accomplished, I will be a happy camper.
I'm looking forward to seeing pictures of what everyone is working on throughout the weekend. Thanks for sharing your salvage quilt photos. It is beautiful. I guess I should not be tossing those salvages into the garbage. Your Dr. Who block is intriging to me, very artistic.
