    Default KenQuilt system

Does anyone have a KenQuilt quilting system? What model is it? Are you happy with it? I have a chance to buy a used one but wanted a little inside information, if I can get it.

Thanks for any thoughts you have.

I used to have a KQ 620 or something like that. I don't think they make it anymore but it worked fine. It was very old but a work horse. My DQF has a big KQ and said the same about hers...

I have one I bought new about 5 years ago. It is a fine machine. I'm pretty busy and don't have time to use it a lot, but it works fine. the frame is very sturdy. You can wind your bobbins while sewing. I have the Princess. It has the stitch regulator. I also have a friend who has one. She quilts a lot. No problems with them. I use signature thread, but I'm gonna try some different ones. My husband quilted our last one.

KenQuilt has been around a long time. They just recently got bought by CompuQuilter. They made one of the first mid-arm systems for home quilting. I didn't find out about them until after I bought my first system but they are a well known manufacturer. http://www.kenquilt.com/
