I'm making a quilt for my daughter that is getting married in Dec. and I'm trying to figure out what looks best. Should I put Married on and the date or Wedding Date and the date. I can't figure out which one looks best. Help please! :-)

I made a wedding gift quilt and I put the date that I finished the quilt. Unfortunately you never know if the wedding will last.

I have to agree. :( Maybe it would be better just to put who made it and the date it was made? Awful that we have those thoughts.. but it seems to be the world we live in. Now, maybe if thats all you put, they will be married to the day they die, and wonder, why didnt mom put our wedding date on the label?? :) ;-)

How about "Stitched in love for my daughter and son-in-law. By Quilter Day-By-Day, 2011"

How about stitched with love for a long happy life...then put the date..if they split it's still applicable.
