I use a headlamp/miners light my husband had when he was in the Army. He worked on vehicles all day long and had no light or rather no one to hold a light while working under them. So while he was in Iraq I sent him one of these lights. It is SUPER bright, uses AAA batteries, and you can position it up or down so it is shining right on the area you are working. They are REALLY cheap too! I just have to make sure I take it off awhile before going out in public, it leaves a red mark on my forehead if I use it to long. lol

They have Ott lights on sale at JoAnns for 50%, and coupons for free shipping. I don't have one, but am eyeing the table/craft with the magnifier......

They now sell an ott light regular base bulb I got it for 50% off at Joanns but any overhead light like a pole lamp seems to work better for me.

I use a floor lamp that can be adjusted to wherever I need the light.

I have an Ott light ... it makes a big difference ... nice white light( not a yellow type from a regular bulb) .

A nice floor lamp with an ott bulb would work great especially if it was adjustable! It was less than $5.00 at 40% off.
