    I am going to look for the above book. I like the twister look but if there is an easier way to get the same look I am going to try it.

    please help, how do you lay out the original blocks, it says rows
    but do you have to have alternating colors in each row, it doesn't say......

    You can lay them out any way you like. It is nice to have a contrast from one to the next. I love that it is such a nice surprise to see what it looks like in the end. Here is a table runner I made for my DD for Christmas.

    thank you so much, we are here trying to figure this out.
    I get it now, that you use all different squares, the directions, don't tell you that with the ruler. It just says put in rows, so I did 6 the same in one row, then
    a another in another row....yeah! duh! now I get it.

    Thanks. It was a pack of charm squares. Actually, that one I posted was the test one; I made another one a little bigger for my DD. I think they are a lot of fun to make.
