I'm currently working on one that is 3 fabrics only. Reddish gold center; gold with dark flecks on one side and black w/gold on the other side. It's quite striking. For a friends son who will be graduating from HS next year and black/gold are the school colors. The backing is black/gold as well. Not sure yet what I'll do for a border, if any. And it will be a barn raising setting. Still 28 complete blocks to go and finishing a few more. And I haven't had any time to work on it for the last couple of weeks.
