Jennifer - thanks for posting pics that showed my problem and gave Peckish the jumping off point
Prism99 - I have starched the squares hoping that will help.
Peckish - will the corner trimmers help me line up the fabric? Should I sew with the triangles on the bottom? Also wondering if should draw a line to show my stitch line, sew it make sure it matches then cut off the excess square?
I am so grateful for all of the help offered by fellow quilters on the site. There is no judgement, no question to big or small. My quilting guru has Alzheimers and while I still love to sit and stitch with her every chance I have, she is having trouble answering my questions now. It is nice to know there is somewhere else to find a friendly, helpful answer.
