A friend of mine is commissioning me to make, for her daughter, a quilt involving dragonflies. She loves the one-block-wonder / kaleidoscope design.

I did an initial pass through quiltshops.com without finding anything, so I now turn to you all:

Can any of you think of a fabric that a) has fireflies in it (the more realistic the better) and b) would work in a kaleidoscope / obw-style look? (i.e., would make good hexagons)?

I look forward to your suggestions. Thanks!

Would it matter if it did have dragonflies since in a OBW they are not seen the same in the new block. Maybe a different pattern would work better.

We have three dragonfly fabrics on order; the first two have metallic in them, and are by Blank Quilting, and they are due to come in the second week of August.

The third is coming in September. It's by Fabric Freedom.
