I don't have a suggestion really. But I bought a few butterick patterns on friday while they were on sale. One was a sewing tote that has many different fabrics making up the whole tote.

While reading the requirements, I noticed that it calls for fat quarters. Even the pattern companies are jumping on board here using them.

I too have the luck stars pattern. Have used it MANY times. I have made one for 4 grandsons and include their picture as the center block. (I do them after their 1st birthday..so there's 12 pics of them!). It is a fun and simple pattern.

Those Lucky Stars are really pretty. That pink and green one stands out though.

I did something similar when my granddaughter was born. I would have posted it with the others, but could only attach 3 pics.

Thanks...I really like that one too. That was all made from my stash. I even pieced the back with 10" blocks of leftovers. I thought I had a picture, but can't find it.

I love Karen Snyder's book "bundles of fun." Most of the quilts require twelve fat quarters.

My favorite fat quatrter is Just Can't Cut It. I have made several. You can find the pattern in most quilt shops.
