Looking for quilt pattern made from half square log cabin blocks
I'm looking for the pattern that looks like exploding squares (not the MSQC one) and is colored so it looks like square upon square. Not explaining it well at all. Will welcome any and all suggestions, websites, etc. I had a link once upon a time but have searched my computer with not luck.
thanks, Dawne

Yes, Nan, that is the one. I'm certain there was free pattern floating around somewhere and I copied it but can't figure out what name I put it under.
Edit: Is there an "official" name for this pattern? It would help in my quest.

I think it is called "thinking outside the box". You might search that and find something.
It's very easy to make. There is only one block and that is 1/4 of the whole center block.
Just make a bunch and arrange them as you see.
