Yes! A ten minute block would be perfect if you have a lot of different black/white fabrics.....adding teal as an accent color will set it off perfectly (or any other bright color). The ten minute block is so fast and easy, you could easily put together a king sized top in one afternoon! Go to the gallery here and look through the 10 minute block quilts....some of them are amazing!

I did a rail fence in black and white prints and also a strip of red and it turned out great.

I loved doing the Maple Island BQ quilt - here's a link to the one I made: http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...d-t168172.html

and a link to their site with lots of patterns: http://www.mapleislandquilts.com/quiltpatterns.asp

The look really changes, depending on what fabrics you use but then, I guess that's always true

you can always do blocks you're comfortable with and simply enlarge them, making it easier to get to king-sized.

There is a quilt called "High Light" which is on the website www.allpeoplequilt.com
The blocks are 19" in size, so it's good for large scale prints. The designers have used black, white and yellow, but I'm sure it would look great with teal instead of the yellow.
The pattern is free to members of allpeoplequilt.com. Membership is free too; you just need an email adddress.

I have done the Big Block Quilt by Black Cat Creations. http://www.black-cat-creations.com/i...ils.php?id=191

You could do it with the teal and I bet it would look AMAZING!!! You would have to double the pattern, but I think it would look great.

Paradigm Shift would also be a good one. Good luck!!!
