Default Looking for this pattern.

It appears to be a storm at sea and snail's trail combined or maybe a 54-40 block with snails trail - I have a customer that wants this quilt but I am not finding a pattern. I hope someone can help me.

I found it here:
http://www.generations-quilt-pattern...t-pattern.html

You do have to scroll down a bit on the page to get to this specific pattern.

I know that its on that generations-quilt pattern site - but it doesn't really give a pattern. I think its just straight storm at sea blocks with snails trail in between. I don't have any EQ software so I am trying to figure out sizes - it doesn't give you that at the website.

If you don't have EQ7 than you might have to graft out the blocks on graph paper. I would start with the paper piecing block of Storm at Sea from Quilterscache and draft the Snail Trail to go with it. Some awesome layouts on the generations site.

This is a truly amazing quilt! Had to bookmark it for my "to do" list.

Looks to me like a snail trail block with fancy schmancy sashing & corner stones. The cornerstones are square in a square in a square. The sashing looks like a tri recs, but it's not. It's elongated, I'm thinking this needs to be paper pieced. The sashing is 1/3 the size of the block, so if you make a 12 inch snail, make 4" sashing and if you make a 9 inch snail, make a 3" sashing

I made one like that, but mine was a miniature quilt. I just used the snails trail block for the centres with the storm at sea sashing. My snails trail block was 3" finished and the sashing was 1". If you are planning on making a full sized quilt I would definately look at a fairly big block as there are lots of pieces in this pattern. http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...t-t208253.html
