Well, when I clicked on the above link, it took me to Chic and Jo's page but I didn't find the tutorial. I'll look some more!
I found it by doing a Google Search "How to make a custom kindle cover". The tutorial is about the 4 th item down on my screen. Hope this helps.

I used this one for my first one but as my friends each got Kindles I improvised by making quilt blocks and doing a similiar concept
This is what I made. I could not find the pattern I liked, so I copied my husband's Nook cover, which we purchased. Next time I will try to do better, but for now this is fine. Lots of measuring and playing.
Did you look at the Atkinson Design pattern
