Looking for a table runner
#13
I almost have the same set! It is very romantic set up with my white crocheted table cloth and real red and white roses in a cut crystal footed bowl for the centerpiece. Old fashioned you say? I know but I love it. Not to mention the smell is amazing at the table while eating.
A casual look would be with a green plaid tablecloth. Hancock fabrics has a wonderful spearmint green plaid fabric on sale in their christmas fabrics. I bought it to make a table cloth for a whole cloth quilted look. I think will be a hit with my dishes.

I would take a black and white photo, blow it up to the right size, and then use it as a pattern for Applique in the center of long white on white piece the right length, , and maybe a smaller bouquet near each end? Classic look.

I have done several table runners using the Zig Zag Table Runner Patter from freepatterns.com The pattern provides the option to make a longer table runner than the initial one. I did a table runner (70 inches long) for my table, and I plan on doing a shorter one to match it for my buffet. Take a look at that pattern -- just a suggestion!
