Machine Quilting
#1
I am going to start doing small quilts for the preemie babys at the hospital. In order to get more done I feel machine quiting is what I need to do.. I have a older brother embroidrey machine that has a quilting card. Has anyone quilted use something like this? The quilts are 18 x 18. Any ideas..? :?:

I think a quilting motif from your embroidery machine will work fine...just do not make it too elaborate...
A simple quilting or tying works best for preemies...and as they are only 18" or so...less is best.
Thankyou for making these quilts for these precious angels.

Thanks for all you help..I am quilting one by hand. It is my first. I was quilting out of the ditch...I have a hard time in the ditch...My stitches are small but I can see where it might be too much quilting..I am going to do something different on next one..

Check with the NICU at the hospital you will be giving the quilts to. We have done blankets for them, they must be cotton or flannel. We usually double the material & surge the ends.
