Cow Quilt Is Finished -- Thanks MS quilter!
Attached is a picture of my finished cow quilt. A special thanks goes to MS quilter, a member of this board. She answered my ISO request about a month ago for the additional cow fabric I needed. In fact, I was able to get several yards from her and will be making more quilts from it.
The cow quilt is a little less than twin size, and the blocks are 6.5". I did the simple machine quilting myself (SID and crosshatching), and I am proud of that accomplishment, since I am a beginner at that. I still need to wash the quilt to remove my markings and the spray basting. However, it is ok in this condition to take to quilt guild tomorrow for "show and tell."
The Bible Camp in my home community in ND has an annual quilt auction at the end of the summer, and I have been donating quilts for that. This quilt will be auctioned off this coming August.
Thanks again, MS quilter -- you made it happen!
