How cute!! Some boy will hound his mother or father until they win it at the auction no matter how high the bids go.

Thanks, everybody for your compliments! I also want to thank members of the board who gave me tips on the "square in a square" technique when I posted about it. Thos blocks went together so easily for me. I think I will use this pattern with other focus fabrics.

That is really cute. I hope it brings a lot of money in the auction.

What a nice quilt!! Did you use a pattern? If so what is the name?

Yes, I did use a pattern. It is called "American Cowboy" from "Quilt Magazine". I am sorry, but I don't have a date on the magazine -- just a torn out page. It is definitely not a current issue. If you can't find it and want to know the dimensions of the cut pieces, just PM me. The focus fabric squares as well as the resulting pieced squares are 6.5" square unfinished (6" finished). The pattern does not give total yardage needed. The quilt makes up to be roughly 65" x 75", depending on border width. I am making a second one for Project Linus that will be 2 rows narrower and 2 rows shorter.

Thanks for your interest!
