Put "free fat quarter quilt pattern" without the quote marks in your favorite search engine and you'll get a whole bunch of web sites that have free patterns. I used yahoo search and the first page had half a dozen interesting web sites.

a tip if you ever want to look for an exact phrase leave the quotes around it!!

Have you tried your library? I think my library carries at least 250 books! It's awesome. Right now I have a ONe-Block Wonders, a Log Cabin book and a Block Magic (full of paper piecing blocks)!

Check for quilting magazines too...take home a whole stack of them to browse thru!

You can use fat quarters in almost any pattern too. For example, if it calls for a yard of red you can use four red fat quarters.
