Mettler Polymaid Thread

Have any of you used this? What are your thoughts ? I put a hot iron on it yesterday and it didn't melt or anything. I'm wanting to use this to quilt with.

I have never heard of that thread before the Polymaid part. Will be watching to see what comes up about it.

I haven't heard or seen it in any of my LQS. I have used Mettler Silk finish since I bought my first Bernina many years ago. Have you checked Mettler's website to see what the company has to say about this thread??
