I don't know about those two, but this is the swivel lap hoop I have and love:

It is easy to adjust and my underneath hand is free from obstruction when quilting.

You know....that is a great idea. I have been quilting without a hoop, too, but with it heavily pinned. And, I really don't like that. Thank you so much for suggesting this. I am going to think about this vs. buying a hoop.

Thanks quilters for your input. I finally just decided to order the Grace 14 in after I found it at amazon for $69 with free shipping. That was $10 less than at other sights and with free shipping...I felt like I was getting a bargain. At that same sight one lady had a "review" and said she loved it....just wished she had bought the poly instead of the wood.....which I was wondering about which one to order. She gets occasional splinters from her wood one. So that did it....ordered the poly swivel from Grace. But.....Loretta....I do intend to follow your suggestion for some quilts about having a longarm quilter baste heavily.
Thanks, everyone
