I'm w/your DIL too...I like it! When in doubt on a border always pull from the center...so, if you have anymore of the same scraps...why not scrap it all the way around??(Border)It would be perfect and actually would make a good visual w/your eye too by doing so. You have framed history in fabrics..always a good thing:))Skeat

I thought about a strip of scraps as a border, but I'm getting tired of crumb blocks. I think I might try some braids and cobblestones.... that might work......... I'll give it a try. I have to measure the top now and see how wide I need to make it to be a queen size.

She said to me- if I was sick I would want to curl up under this quilt and not come out. And if Greg was sick too, he'd have to get his own blanket. I'm not sharing.

She has the flip flop quilt I made her out of scraps and she curls up under it every night.

I think I will need to find an awesome pattern to make them a wedding quilt.

I like it! Scrappy quilts are my favorites. Love how you did the alternate block. I would get lost just looking at all the fun fabrics. "Memories" soundtrack running in the background. LOL!

Found the fabrics for the wheel, will cut them out tonight if I have time. Need to do something to the dog- she got too close to a skunk. Not too bad, but I didn't have time this morning to bath her. Have to pick up some tomato juice to dunk her in. Just what I need- a stinky pug!

Barbm you have a PM about the dog/skunk.

I think your quilt is fun! It could be a good picnic quilt and one to take to ball games if you dont want to make it large enough for the bed.
