Her Ugly"quilt isn't ugly
#1
My friend asked me to quilt her ugly quilt for her. She calls it that because she doesn't like green. Why make a green quilt then? She makes them for fund raisers for her church. Anyway I didn't think it was ugly and now she doesn't either. This quilt has big blocks and as you can see, some are embroidered on. I echoed the embroidery which made an interesting design on the back. I filled in the alternating blocks with curls and chose a big meandering feather around the center and feathered circles in the corners since they were separated by a small border. I did it free hand. She says her ugly quilt is now a pretty quilt. I'm so glad she liked it.
Not good lighting but the colors are pretty true

Hmmm, I'm thinking rather than ugly, it was kind of plain. But it isn't any more! Your quilting has turned it into the work of art it was meant to be. You can LA a quilt for me any time! So glad she's pleased with it now.
