Yes, it would clear TSA as a carry-on!! Quilt away... I have a similar one I bought at Wal-mart years ago...

Oh, how cute. My Mother sent me one very similar. It sews. That's the good news. I keep mine as a novelty and a keepsake since it was from my Mother, but I don't use it. Not sure I ever will again, but who knows, maybe in a pinch. LOL
