I'm soooo excited!!! I ordered the Singer Quantum L-500 and it just arrived and I can't wait to try it out. I had it delivered to my work so I'm going to play with it on my lunch break. If I keep it I'll have to get it paid for LOL. I will have to sell my other machine if I like this one and I'll have to sell some of my stash as well so I hope this machine is worth it <grin>. I know Singer had a bad rep for a while but I've used a Quantum for the past 3 years and like it and never had a problem with it so I hope this one is good as well. No one at work sews so I had to share my excitement with you guys!

Good luck with your new toy. New toys are so much fun! I had a Singer Quantum something many years ago when computerized first came out. I now have Vikings. Which I just learned not too long ago, they are both owned by the same company.

I hope you like yours and it works well for you. When I ordered it a little while ago it was not a good fit for me. Ran real roughshod and skipped stitches. Too bad I had to send it back coz the price was right.
