This is the next quilt I am making. My strips ended going up and down instead of crosswise. Is going really slow because the pattern said to cut all pieces 3-7/8" then put together pieces and make across and sew 1/4" from line. All the pieces are off so have to recut them all. Like I said it is slow going but is still winter here in MN.

The size will be queen size. There are going to be 120 blocks. Then I will add an inch or so of the black and white around the quilt and then add a wider of the black and red.

I had a heck of a time trying to post just this one block. I am going to purchase a cell phone that takes pictures and can hook up to the PC. Will be hard to get the finished quilt in the scanner. HAHA

Okay, stupid question here ... if they are all cut with the same orientation, why would it make a difference in the end? I can understand if some were cut this way and some were cut the other way. Am I missing something?
