Lovely! Yes, do label in several places. My niece had to search every room in my SIL's AZ unit to find a throw i made her. She took it home after that.

It's very pretty. I agree with putting on several labels. I know one site where the quilter put a standard label on the quilt plus she wrote a label along the edge so it would be under the binding. You could use a silver or light color on the black fabric to do that.

The quilt is STUNNING! I echo the comments about no border, going with the binding only, and using labels in more than one location. Your friend will be thrilled with your beautiful and thoughtful gift!

It's really lovely. I wouldn't use a border, and bind it in black also.

The design is so beautiful, I think I'd bind it in the same dark colour as the main body of the quilt.......looks like black on my monitor but could be anything from charcoal to navy. Wonderful piece of work!
