This is the little quilt for my friend in nursing home. Haven't done binding yet as don't know if it needs borders[ATTACH=CONFIG]500729[/ATTACH]

I would just bind it in the red or green or a combination of the two. Be sure that you label it well as items often go missing in nursing homes.
Love how this came together and I think the quilting is going to be perfect.

​Looking good! I love the look of polyester batting and I think red binding to finish it off.

I'm thinking I'd do just binding in red & green. I think it's a faux flange. I know you use one strip one inch the other 1.5 inches.. Does anyone know the name of this binding.

How pretty! Yes, things do go missing 'often' in nursing homes. Yours should be easy to spot though.

I Googled, and it seems to be called a faux flange binding. Found these tutorials:

Looks like the cut widths vary depending on what size you want the flange and binding to be.

I don't think you need a border. I like the look of the diagonal lines in your quilting. GREAT job.
