Lovely quilt. I think it looks great as is; but a border would look nice too. I'm sure that is a lot of help. :-)

I like the look of it as is...no border. The design really "floats" on the background that way. Nice Job!

I used very thick polyester wadding. I don' t know how to measure it but on my ruler it was about 1" deep. I wanted to echo the black squares but after trying the quilt was too awkward to push through domestic machine hence the diagonal stitching. Thank you all for looking and will maybe do two colour binding to finish.

Gorgeous. My, but you finished that quickly! No border needed...just bind it and enjoy the pleasure it brings your friend. That's a stunner! (I mean that in a good way.)
