Seems like a great deal if someone can use it. http://sacramento.craigslist.org/mat/2038604036.html

What would you use it for?

It looks like an awesome deal! I am not sure what to use it for. I wonder how difficult it would be to remove the quilting, and just use the batting.

Why couldn't you use it as batting the way it is? Or, use it as batting and backing all in one, stitch a top to it and bind it? I'm just asking because I don't know from nuttin' about Dacron.

Candace - I'm in Sacramento so maybe we can figure out together how to benefit from this.

I thought of using it just as is for batting, but I think the dacron might be very slippery and be very difficult to quilt through.

It looks like the kind of stuff quilted jackets are made out of.

Well, it looks like it's already stitched on the diagonal. And the backing fabric is black? I have no idea what this backing fabric is made out of?

Or maybe it's used for mattresses??

It looks like we'd have to buy all three rolls. Not sure what the limitations of using this would be. I don't think using it as backing and then quilting it would work. I think it's mainly used for clothing items? I don't know!!

OK, I've written and offered to take ONE of the rolls off her hands. Can't think what I'd do with all three rolls.

I know I can figure out something to do with it even if it's 50,000 cosmetic bags and totes (grin). My son is going to have a FIT! We're supposed to be getting ready to move from a house to an apartment in the spring and I'm supposed to be downsizing my treasure chests. He's going to groan about "Mom and Her Great Deals!" LOL!

Ha! But it really is a great deal IF you know what to do with it. Now if were plain, batting, I'd be all over it!

I can't see how they expect someone to buy all three rolls, so I hope they let you get just the one.
