Yes, believe it or not!! I thought about these pictures I had and went looking for them in my files and wanted to share them with you. The Quilted Bull was done by a quild and is in a mall in Wisconsin I think it was. The Quilt Bug vehicle is in Oregon and you can read about it at this link and see all the other pictures of it, i.e., side view, front view, etc. Here's the link:

http://www.flickr.com/photos/pamelal...in/pool-quilts
You can click on the link under the picture to see the front, and then to the right click on the pic of the side view of the car to see it better!

Also, the newspapers and reporters were contacted numerous times for coverage of their patchwork VW, but no one was interested. We quilters can appreciate it most! Enjoy! ;) ;)

he is a buffalo sorry to point out. but he is dressed just right. his shaggy hair went thru a straightener and then platted into that wondefull coat of many quilt blocks.

Yes, I meant to add that he was a 'buffalo' and not a bull when someone said I think it's a buffalo and knew they were right! Guess I had a bull on my mind. duh.... :-D :-D :-D

Yes, they are pretty neat!! Someone did put a lot of work into that and the car. I think the quilt is completely removable off the Quilt Bug, but I didn't read the whole thing. I think the owner drives around like that with the cover on!! :-D :-D
