Has anyone ever used the bias binder foot for making small quilts. My friend stated that it works fine on one piece of material. Not sure if it works on more. So I shared with her that I would ask my friends on the Quilting Board. They would know.

I have used it on potholders and a couple of other small projects with narrower binding, but not with the wider binding on a quilt.
The potholders had 2 layers of fabric and two layers of batting. I zigzagged the edges and then put the binding on.

I have the bias binder foot and find it more of an annoyance than anything. I've used it with potholders, etc like the other person but because i can't figure out how to turn corners, I've given up on it. The binding does have to be single fold too. I've even asked at my local dealer if they could show me how to go around a corner without cutting the binding and they couldn't figure it out either.
