    Making my bachelor, retired lifer from the Navy, Uncle some placemats for x-mas .He just bought a place. I got some U.S.A. fabric for one side just trying to think of soething for the otherside any ideas ?

    Maybe a striped fabric or a dark background with stars?

    Why not something that matches his dinnerware? That way he would be able to use whichever side he felt like.
