Since you asked....I would use a solid black background or even a bright solid yellow...your Tshirts would pop! I love how you framed the shirts, what a great idea. Also, no sashing, it would deter from your T's. If the club has a color they use in their logo, that could be the background....I know you are pushing a deadline, I'm just thinking of lots of people in a room participating in an auction and seeing this great quilt from a distance....Whatever background you use, a contrast binding would look good if you don't choose borders...it would match with the "bordered" T's....so put a frame around your quilt that carries that theme. They are lucky to have you. What a nice donation. Hope you raise a lot for the club!

I like your quilt and hope the club makes lots of money raffling it off. I am piecing one for our snowmobile club's annual Landowner Appreciation Dinner and I know it will never break even but oh well.

I agree with daylesewblessed. Love the t-shirt quilt. I think it will bring a good amount.

People can be so cheap. Your quilt looks great. I suggest that you auction it and start out at a minimum price, enough to cover the materials in it at least. Have someone announce just how much good the funds will do for your organization. I have made T shirt quilts for people and find that they are either not willing to pay for my labor or are thrilled to pay whatever I ask. There is probably someone in your organization who is good at influencing others to pay up. Good luck.

I, too, think a yellow boarder would really make the blocks pop. It is going to be a wonderful quilt. You should be proud.

Great quilt. I would add a border of the yellow and use black for the binding.

Personally I wouldn't use the yellow "star"; I see a lot of medium blue (like the Yankees) and dark brown I would use a thin border of each then bind it with black. I think that would make all the colors really pop.
