People don't care how much you know till they know how much you care!
Here is another choice. I just made this quilt with 2 1/2" strips and 5 (or 5 1/2") squares. This would look great with your fabrics!

I am seeing something that radiates from color to color, from quilt center to sides....how about Trip around the world.
Yes that is a real picture of my hometown Temecula, California. We feature premiere Wineries, World Class Golf Courses, Pechanga Indian Casino and Hot Air Balloons
I'm going to be starting one of these. I'm attending a quilt retreat with some friends and can't wait to start it.

Just an idea. I thought it was just a little different, so it appealed to me personally. Can't wait to see what you decided upon.

Oh! I like that "dragon skin" use of clamshells!
I had a lot of fun making the Jewel Box. Of course, it's and old pattern, you can get it at www.quilterscache.com or many other placesbut I never really liked it until I saw on in jewel tones. whatever you end up doing, those colors are magnificent.
OK everyone...thanks for all the ideas! I finally settled on this block and design...I wanted this quilt to be like my friend...she's pretty and she sparkles with life. This is Jessie's Sparkle Stars!
